Robotic breast augmentation

I apologize since the attached picture may appear somewhat unladylike .... even for a robot. But it was very necessary to get her into this position so the robotic boobs would set correctly. We sure wouldn't want one sagging on one side would we.

Hey, don't blame me ... I didn't design her and am just replicating the picture from the magazine. The stainless coasters I ordered from Target were dead on for this piece of delicate robot anatomy. Beautiful stainless to contrast against the hammered silver skin. She's beautiful !! I predict she will be quite popular around here with all the male robots competing for her attention. And that could very well spell trouble with a capital "T" unless I get the Rosie the Robot project back on track real soon.

I can't wait to see the final product, hopefully you can post a video of them looking around.

Could you provide a little more detail on the programming? I haven't decided on a system for my project, so that's going to be the biggest hurdle for me.

I'll get some pictures and video posted very soon. I'm making some last minute modifications which are a little time consuming. Also getting the eyes to light up under computer control.

I use the Vex robotics system because it was easy to learn. The motors aren't real strong but you can use stronger ones with some extra hardware. When I got into this I knew nothing about robotics so the VEX system was a godsend. The vex system is like a giant erector set on steroids. I use a lot of the metal parts for various pieces of my robots too. See http://www.vexlabs.com/ for more info.

Thanks Charlie, You're always welcome here. But after the weather you went through last time to get here, there will probably be a cat 5 tropical storm on your next visit !
